Digital Transformation at The (Sports) Middle School Satteins, Austria

The (Sports) Middle School Satteins (MS/SMS Satteins) in Vorarlberg, Austria, has recently completed its renovation and technological upgrade. This transformation was made possible in part by the project partners "A1" and "WolfVision," positioning the school as a "Digital Lighthouse Project" in western Austria. The modernization, which included the integration of the latest internet and network technology from A1 as well as WolfVision's presentation and collaboration technology, is part of the commitment of the state of Vorarlberg to provide a forward-looking educational environment with this model school, preparing its students for a digital future.

The school's modernization included the installation of 20 WolfVision Cynap Pure Pro devices, complemented by 20 WolfVision Visualizer systems. These systems offer a "best of both worlds" approach to teaching and learning. Traditional teaching methods are enhanced by digital possibilities, allowing teachers to digitally present analog teaching materials with the Visualizers, while simultaneously displaying digital content on the screen with the Cynap system. 

This solution enables students to share their work from an iPad or another personal device directly onto the "digital blackboard," promoting an interactive experience. Together, these technologies form a user-friendly solution to modernize teaching with a clear focus on keeping the technology in the background, allowing teachers to concentrate fully on instruction.

WolfVision's Cynap Pure Pro offers an intuitive interface for wireless screen mirroring, which requires no additional software, apps, or dongles, making it quick and easy for all users to access. In addition to other collaboration features, it allows for a swift and simple transition to hybrid teaching, enabling the inclusion of students who are at home. The technology supports the school's goal of combining traditional educational methods with digital tools.

Another feature of the WolfVision systems installed at the school is their remote management capability. This function allows the administrator to centrally update settings, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments. This significantly reduces the administrative workload and minimizes classroom disruptions. Regular firmware updates further enhance the security and reliability of the school's digital infrastructure.
