TAA Compliance
The Trade Agreements Act (TAA), enacted on July 26, 1979, promotes fair and open international trade. Under this act, the U.S. Government is permitted to procure only those products that are manufactured in the United States or in countries designated as supporting fair and open trade. Furthermore, contractors must certify that all end products intended for government acquisition meet the specified place-of-manufacture requirements.
