Nakano Fudosan Construction

Training room designed for active learning

Products used

Nakano Fudosan Construction Co., Ltd., established in 1933 and headquartered in Tokyo, is a comprehensive construction company.
Its portfolio includes the construction and design supervision of office buildings, commercial complexes, medical and leisure facilities, and residential buildings, including notable landmarks such as Nihonbashi, the National Diet Building, and the former Imperial Theatre.
The company also specializes in renovation projects for existing structures. In addition, it carries out a wide range of construction projects overseas, including hotels, condominiums, factories, and logistics facilities.

Establishing a new training facility

Nakano Fudosan Construction is deeply committed to human resource development, offering a wide range of training programs including onboarding for new employees, sales training, and tier-based development programs.
As the existing training rooms were no longer fulfilling the company's needs, a new project was launched to create a facility where employees could learn in a new and technology-enhanced environment.
In addition to the traditional lecture-style format, the new training room also supports active learning approaches, that encourage greater participation from attendees. The facility is also designed as a flexible space, enabling its use not only for training but also for meetings and other collaborative activities.

Key system features

To create an environment where training can be conducted efficiently and comfortably using the latest ICT technologies, Nakano Fudosan Construction chose to implement WolfVision’s Cynap and vSolution MATRIX systems - solutions widely used in active learning classrooms and university educational facilities.
Each group station is equipped with a Cynap Core Pro, allowing participants to wirelessly connect their digital devices and share content to the monitor. This enables seamless collaboration and information sharing among participants.
The system minimizes the need for cables, resulting in a clean and sophisticated space design. Cynap supports all major operating systems and requires no apps or dongles for use, making it possible for guest speakers and external instructors to use the system immediately without needing to install apps or download any software.

Active learning environments

A Cynap Pro equipped with the AV-over-IP-based vSolution MATRIX system was installed, along with a Cynap Core Pro at each of the seven group workstations. This setup enables bi-directional streaming of video and audio between the main display and each workstation. From the instructor’s touchscreen panel, content can be easily shared with all participants or specific workstations using intuitive drag-and-drop controls, similar to those on a smartphone. This eliminates the need for each group to move to the front of the room to present, and removes reliance on whiteboards or paper-based materials, thereby improving training efficiency and supporting a paperless environment.

The instructor's touch panel also allows real-time monitoring of each group's progress, enabling better oversight and management of the session. Room-view windows can be configured to match the layout of the space, and multiple templates can be saved for instant reconfiguration to match the required room setup - either traditional, active learning or meeting room.

The result is a flexible environment that seamlessly supports various layouts - including active learning, traditional classroom, and meeting formats. vSolution MATRIX enables adaptability to diverse learning styles while enhancing knowledge sharing and communication for all participants.

With the introduction of the new training facility, Nakano Fudosan Construction aims to further enhance peer-to-peer learning and enrich the overall training experience. The company plans to continue actively investing in human capital through the development, recruitment, and education of talent, while also increasing employee motivation to support ongoing corporate growth. By leveraging the scalability of the vSolution MATRIX system, Nakano Fudosan Construction is committed to continuously improving its training environment to meet future needs.
