All Cynap Systems are Super Secure

Network security is a key consideration when introducing a wireless presentation & collaboration solution into your organisation. WolfVision places the highest priority on system security, and whether you choose a Cynap, Cynap Core or Cynap Pure solution, your system contains numerous configurable features which are designed specifically to keep your system and data secure. Linux operating system

Cynap, Cynap Core, and Cynap Pure use a closed custom-built Linux operating system. This means:
  • No modification of the operating system is allowed
  • No installation of third party software is allowed
  • No viruses
  • No malware
  • No unwanted pop-ups
  • No recognition for unsupported file types whatsoever
  • No cookies are stored when using the built-in web browser
  • No sessions are saved, and all files are purged at the end of each session.

Customisable features & functionality

Administrators can use the feature lock option to enable or disable functionality to suit an organisation’s individual security policies. For example the following features can be turned on or off as required:
  • Support for USB drives
  • Recording
  • Streaming
  • Web browser interface
  • Browser interface can be set to use only HTTPS
  • Mirroring protocol support (AirPlay, Chromecast, MIracast) can be individually activated/deactivated for each of the three available network interfaces.

100% wireless data encryption

  • All Cynap family systems support WEP, WPA2, WPA2 Enterprise or IEEE802.1x to provide data encryption for all wireless connections.

Support for IEEE 802.1x authentification

  • Cynap systems support the IEEE 802.1x network authentication protocol, which provides an authentification mechanism to devices seeking to attach to a LAN or WLAN.

Anti-hacking algorithms

  • Anti-hacking algorithms are in use for Cynap, Cynap Core and Cynap Pure to prevent any unauthorised access to the system.

Integrated firewall protection

  • For maximum security, all Cynap systems come with an integrated firewall.

Support for LDAP and LDAPS

  • Support for LDAP (Lightweight Access Directory Protocol) and LDAPS log in access to a Cynap or Cynap Core system to be restricted to specific members of an active directory.

Moderator login

  • Once logged in, a moderator can control which content is allowed to be displayed on-screen
  • PIN codes are changed randomly after every session
  • Moderators can choose to show or hide PIN codes, or to only display the code on a preview monitor as required.
